No — we make dog treats, and it turns out several of our single-ingredient dehydrated fish and chicken treats work just as well for cats, since the ingredient itself is the whole recipe. If your cat has specific dietary needs, check with your vet before adding anything new.

Why are single-ingredient treats better for cats?

Cats can be sensitive to fillers and additives that dogs shrug off. A treat that's just cod, or just chicken, gives you (and your vet, if needed) a lot less to sort through if something doesn't agree with your cat.
