Product Description
Atlantic Silversides (Menidia menidia), aka Baitfish, aka Spearing, are social fish.
In brackish water where rivers debouch into the sea, silver-banded beauties navigate New England sea grasses in schools, searching for zooplankton, or tasty amphipods, or, perhaps, a young squid.
Dogs are also social animals. If you’re a dog, join us at Polkadog, where the sustainably fished Atlantic Silverside is slowly dehydrated into delicious, crunchy, digestibly healthy bite-sized delicacies. Bon appétit.

These fish are easy to use for training and low in calories, but the dogs absolutely love them. They are so easy to use on walks and the dogs don't have any trouble chewing them.

When I say my Newfie loves these fish, I mean he L.O.V.E.S. these fish! As a water dog, he already enjoys fish as his main source of protein, but in most cases, this means the fish are ground up and formed into a crunchy pellet or similar. However, polkadog has the real deal! Freeze-dried REAL fish! Newf absolutely loves these lil treats. I can visibly see his excitement when he hears the bag open. He rushes in, sits pretty, and wags that tail so hard that I could use it as a dust mop for my floor!
Just like everything else at polkadog- A+ for Atlantic Silversides!
PPolkadog23 hours agoWhat a wonderful description of your sweet Newfie! 🐾 We can just picture that big, happy tail going a mile a minute when the Atlantic Silversides come out! We're delighted that our whole fish treats bring him so much excitement. Thank you for sharing such a fun glimpse into his treat-time routine!
