The cod we use to make these cod skins for dogs is caught wild in season by fishermen on small boats in Alaska. We hand-roll and slowly dehydrate each skin in our Boston kitchen to create these crunchy, savory, healthy cod skin treats.

Our 3 dogs absolutely LIVE for bed time and their Polkadog Cod Skin! We have had a monthly subscription for a few years and I am always relieved to see the Polkadog box arrive, because its awful when I have to give them a biscuit instead of a cod skin. However, we do keep other treats on hand and they love all of them, but especially the Lucky Duck bones and Clam Chowda Sticks!

I am a pretty picky dog owner! I want to give my fur-friends quality foods and supplement their meals with natural foods. I am so happy with the quality of this product! Not like most fish skins which are baked with grease. Healthy for my babie’s body, skin and coat, and she gobbles them up in an instant!
