- Rated 5 out of 5 stars2 hours agoSimple, Natural Treat My Dog Loves
Polkadog Cod Skins are a simple, healthy treat that my dog really enjoys. They have a strong fish smell, but that’s actually a good sign for quality and keeps my dog interested right away. The texture is crunchy and easy to break into smaller pieces, which makes them great for training or occasional rewards. I also like that the ingredient list is clean—just one simple protein source with no fillers. Overall, they feel like a natural, high-quality treat I can feel good about giving.
Josie V.Verified BuyerWas this helpful? - Rated 5 out of 5 stars13 hours agoIt's o-fish-al. It's a keeper.
I'm not sure what I was expecting with these other than something smelling a little fishy. These do, in the best possible way to get my dogs attention. He crunches and munches happily on these skins and knowing that polka dog uses the best ingredients is fin-tastic.
PPolkadog6 hours agoThat kind of happy crunch is always great to hear, and it’s nice knowing they grab your dog’s attention in all the right ways. We’re so glad you feel confident in the ingredients while treating your pup 🧡🐾

Kenzie loves her Polkadog CodFish Skin treats. All you have to say is do you want a codfish treat and she will sit and wait. We’re not wild about the fishy smell BUT the sounds she makes when she’s eating them makes the smell tolerable.
PPolkadog6 hours agoKenzie sounds like she has her routine down perfectly, and those little moments make it so special. We’re so glad they bring her that much joy, even if they come with a bit of that signature fishy aroma 🧡🐾

I use to get a tube of these at a specialty dog store for my one dog Lewis, it’s been a while since I’ve gotten these, mostly because I moved and forgot about them and just got other treats. Now I have three dogs (a 10 year old Husky named Possum, a 6 year old Catahoula leopard mix named Sammy, and a 17 month old Pomsky named Penguin) I was getting another treat but found out they use chicken products in it, my dog Sammy has recently gotten toxic gas that could clear out a room full of of people who can’t smell anything (it’s that bad) hahaha. So his food has chicken byproducts, which I’m switching to a salmon flavor with no chicken byproducts to see if that helps, and most other treats surprisingly have chicken byproducts in it, so now I’m back to here with only one ingredient cod. I’m hoping it helps and he is just sensitive to chicken, I have no doubt my current dogs will love these, I mean come on smelly fish skins what dog could possibly resist. If my current dogs don’t like them, then I still give 5 stars for my dog Lewis (the one in pajamas) because he absolutely destroyed them back in the day.
PPolkadog2 days agoIt’s so nice to hear you’ve come back to something that worked so well in the past. Lewis clearly had great taste, and we hope these are just as big of a hit with Possum, Sammy, and Penguin. We’re especially glad you found a simple option to try as you navigate Sammy’s sensitivities 🧡🐾
