We love working with like-minded folks in our own backyard. With Walden Local Meat, Polkadog is making sustainable, single-ingredient, locally sourced, grain-free bones and healthy dog treats. Walden makes local work partnering with small farms instead of factory farms to produce 100% grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork, chicken, and lamb here in New England and New York. We dehydrate these ingredients at our Boston kitchen into nutritiously delicious jerky treats.
Although the beef liver jerky is made from grass fed beef and is good for the dog - whenever I get this product - even though I pay for the extra fee in shipping - the product arrives in small bits - probably from shipping. The product is good however it does not come in pieces that I can feed my dog - so I use it as toppings on his food.

My go-to treat!
Walden-Meat Jerky meets all the criteria I have for a treat for my whoodle, Sasha: 1) easy to put in my pocket and find when we are on walks 2) Sasha will chew and not swallow immediately (I love hearing her crunch) 3) is tasty (apparent from Sasha's response) 4) Walden uses sustainable, healthful practices (cows are grass fed) and is LOCAL

These are doggie crack!
